Iraq Vets PTSD Study at Marshall University:

A clinical trial of PTSD was performed at Marshall University Medical School, sponsored by Soul Medicine Institute. It showed veterans recovering substantially over the course of six sessions.

Their anxiey reduced by 46 % (p<.001), their depression by 49% (p.001), and their PTSD levels by 50% (p<.013). It was published in a peer-reviewed professional journal, which has graciously given us permission to distribute copies without charge. To download a PDF copy of the study, click here.

Click here to see a letter from one of the Iraq vets enrolled in the study, as he describes the positive changes that have transpired since he began treatment for PTSD in the Soul Medicine Institute study.

The Iraq Vets Stress Project is an initiative of Soul Medicine Institute (SMI), a nonprofit research and teaching institution not affiliated with the government or any religious group. SMI studies a group of therapies called Energy Psychology, which have a proven track record in releasing emotional trauma. You can click here to read the story of a Vietnam vet with PTSD who had not been helped by years of conventional therapy, but whose symptoms disappeared dramatically and quickly after treatment with Energy Psychology. And here, you can read a story of an Iraq vet who used Energy Psychology (TAT) for the first time, and his results.

Click here here to see a video taped at a Veterans Administration hospital of a Vietnam vet with PTSD as he processes the emotional trauma of having shot a youth who walked toward him with an armed grenade. And here, you can read a story of a therapist who is using Energy Psychology to treat veterans and others suffering from PTSD.
